Korrespondenzen

Korrespondenzen is a photographic project based on visual affinities between images taken in different places, countries and contexts.

The photographs are presented as image pairs. Each pair invites comparison rather than explanation, allowing meaning to emerge through similarity, contrast and association. The images do not illustrate one another; they remain autonomous while entering into a dialogue.

Developed over several years, Korrespondenzen has been presented in books and exhibitions. Rather than telling a story, the project opens a space for attentive looking and visual reflection.
